“The Solution Is Always Simple”

America, in a few short hours, we welcome The Sacred Birth Of Jesus Christ. A child born to welcoming, dependable, holy parents – whose lives were dedicated to raising, guiding, and nurturing Him.

How very blessed are children born into welcoming, loving, upright homes!

Sadly, many children are not. As they develop, and their relational needs are unmet or mutilated, they suffer “unthinkable anxieties”, “primitive agonies” [Winnicott]. Seeking relief from their pain, they often choose to travel improper paths, leading to further pain and degradation.

In the spirit of Christmas, I am asking you, America, to consider that “Barack Obama”, for all his great accomplishments, has greatly suffered; and in his suffering, chose paths he now regrets.

I truly believe that if he could do it all over again, he wouldn’t do it.

Please, permit me to introduce you to one of the holiest men I know. A former Mafioso from the Bronx, the man you meet today is thoroughly unrecognizable as the man he was before his spiritual awakening.

Twenty-six years ago, on 23 June 1985, after much agonizing deliberation, from a prison cell - just like Malcolm X - he turned toward the Face Of God. And not for one living breathing moment has he turned away.

How I wish you could meet him! How I wish you could hear his story.

Last night, I was honored to converse with him. As always, I felt the spirit of Jesus Christ emanate from him across hundreds of miles of fiber optics, right into my heart. The compassion. The welcoming. The peace. It is no mystery why his home is filled with boxes of cards and letters from people whose broken lives have been healed by his witness.

“No matter how complicated your problems are” he counsels, “the solution is always simple: turn to God.”

America, in honor of The Sacred Birth Of Jesus Christ, let us lay down our anger, and find it within our hearts to genuinely welcome “Barack Obama” as he steps forth in Integrity. I sense you’d agree: it will not be an easy step.

Yet, it will be the most courageous step any American, in all our great history, has ever taken.

Obama Talks Dishonesty?

America, clearly our prayers have not yet reached the soul of “Barack Obama”.

Yesterday, in his weekly radio/internet address, “Obama” talked dishonesty.

Not his dishonesty, mind you.

No. “Obama” talked about other people’s dishonesty.

Righteously, he demanded that his choice for Consumer Financial Protection Board director be approved, despite the fact that the Senate has told him no.

Refusing ‘to take no for an answer” he took his moral indignation to the American public, claiming that every passing day without his choice for CFPB director “is another day that dishonest businesses can target and take advantage of students, seniors and service members.”

To his word choices, pay close attention: “Obama” is going to protect us from those who are “dishonest”!

From those who ”target”.

From those who “take advantage of”.

America, let’s pray that next week, when “Obama” addresses us, it is not the eye of the video camera, but the Eye of The Lord our God that stares back at him.

Shake, Rattle And Roll

This morning, an AP article caught my eye.

“After Crime, Punishment Awaits Ex-Gov Blagojevich” by Michael Tarm states:

“The impeached state executive-turned-reality TV star has good reason to feel anxious and afraid at the two-day hearing in Chicago. He faces the prospect of 10 or more years behind bars.”

As I read these words, I couldn’t help wonder, when “Barack Obama” is brought to justice for his transgressions against America, what sort of sentence would be levied against him.

Actually, I should say, sentences.

For Truth be told, charges could be levied by Attorney Generals of all fifty states – not just by one, as with Blagojevich.

The Federal Government would also weigh in.

So how many years do you suppose Obama – excuse me, Bâri′ M. Shabazz – would get?

Oh dear. Time to call on The Boss Of The Blues, Big Joe Turner. Time for another music blast from the 50s:

Obama’s 2012 Theme Song: “I Fought The Law, And The Law Won”!

If you’re an oldies buff, you likely know that catchy tune by Bobby Fuller Four, “I Fought The Law, And The Law Won”.

If not, not to worry. You’ll know it soon.

In 2012, this song will haunt “Obama”.

And Eric Holder.

All across America, lo these past three years, voices have cried out in righteous protest to the vengeful attacks “Barack Obama”, Eric Holder, and others in the present administration have waged against The United States Constitution, America’s sacred traditions, and America itself.

Americans coast to coast have cried out in great anguish, as they’ve witnessed their willful destruction of our great country.

Destruction “Obama”, Holder, and their Gang Of Retaliators have gleefully waged, while lying straight-faced about what they are doing.

Thanks be to God, The Law is finally catching up with them.

I venture to predict, that rather than waging an election campaign in 2012, “Obama” will be waging war against the multiple corruption charges about to smack him upside of the head.

So will Holder.

America, please join me in thanksgiving to Almighty God that justice is soon to be served.

Tragically, “Obama” and Holder never quite “got it” that they have partaken in the best America has to offer anyone.

They’ve not for one moment appreciated - or genuinely enjoyed – their good fortunes.

Have you ever heard them thank anyone who helped them along the way? Teachers, admissions committees, scholarship committees, employers, political mentors, political appointers – anyone?

Uh-uh.

Why?

They’ve been far too preoccupied by envy. Blinded by envy, you might say. Blinded to the fact that despite their vile denials, they are living proof that The American Experiment does work.

Deny it they must! Reality would quickly snuff out their burning envy.

And what would they do with their primitive pain? What could they do? Admit they’ve got a problem perceiving reality?

Envy is aptly named one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Like with all sins, there exists a range of intensity and frequency.

Pathological envy is envy so intense, so controlling, it compulsively seeks revenge. The kind of revenge that stops short at nothing less than whole scale destruction of persons envied.

“Obama”, Holder, and their Gang Of Retaliators have this fundamental character flaw in common: pathological envy.

Pathological envy of Americans oh so happy – and proud – to be Americans.

A Homecoming… and Old Business

President Obama arrived in Indonesia this past Thursday on the final leg of his Asia Pacific tour, ostensibly to pave the way for private trade deals in the region that could mean billions of dollars and thousands of US jobs. Whatever. While some have made mention of Obama’s recent gaffes and stress, press photos showed someone appearing more relaxed than he has in weeks, hobnobbing with the movers and shakers of the Asia Pacific region.

Indonesia is, of course, where Obama spent many of his formative years, after being brought there by his mother. Perhaps it felt good to be back.

Interestingly, it was in 1955 that slain civil rights leader Malcolm X attended the first Conference of the Non-aligned Nations in Bandung, Indonesia. There, he made many fast friends, hobnobbing with the movers and shakers of the Asia Pacific region. He had actually been scheduled to attend another Non-aligned Nations conference in Indonesia in 1965. He’d even purchased his airline tickets; unfortunately, he was gunned down shortly before the trip.

Come to think of, how did young Barack wind up in a country (Indonesia) where Malcolm had forged such strong ties? Could it be that it’s because Malcolm loved Indonesia? Obama’s easy manner this week might stem from a certain sense of closure; perhaps he was picking up on dreams from his father.

Also interesting, that the Barack Obama II historical narrative includes Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, falling in love with Indonesian student Lolo Soetoro, marrying him and moving to Indonesia – but we know by now how unreliable that story has proven to be…

Malcolm X’s Most Momentous Moment

America, I ask you to consider something with great seriousness.

What you’ve seen reported at Terrible Truth was enacted out of pain, the perception of powerlessness, and despair.

I’m talking human frailty.

I’m talking about suffering humans choosing a pathway that they may later realize was not the right pathway. But they find themselves so far down that path, they fear there’s no turning back.

But there is turning back. Just look at Malcolm X. Not just when, as a young man in prison, he transformed his ‘wayward’ life and joined Nation Of Islam. Many years later, as a seasoned Minister, as a very public figure, in spring 1964 he realized that, in fairness to what he had learned about life, it was time to modify a long-held position against white people.

Malcolm found the courage to publicly acknowledge his profound inner transformation. From what I understand about his personality – and his reputation – it could not have been easy to do so.

But he did it.

From an existential standpoint, it was Malcolm X’s most momentous moment.

I bet that loving Jo Ann Newman had a lot to do with his awakening. In Jo Ann’s steadfast love, Malcolm came to see his human frailty. So, Barack, I submit that not only was their love ‘improbable’, as you enjoy labeling it, your parents’ love was what love is meant to be: transformative.

If human love is this powerful, imagine Divine Love.

And Divine Mercy.

Barack, I know that making things right may feel impossible. I know it may feel overwhelming. But it isn’t. You’ve got everything you need within you to do it. I have faith in you. I’ve seen what you’ve sacrificed. I know the determined stock you come from.

Mother Angelica, foundress of EWTN, The Eternal Word Television Network [http://www.EWTN.com] teaches us: “Hate the sin but not the sinner.” How wise. How relieving for all of us – those injured, and those who injure - to meditate upon this axiom. It gives us an elegant, appropriate framework for both accountability and compassion – and for human transformation – wonderfully tied together.

So you see, America, what was done emanated from human frailty. Nothing more and nothing less.

And what we can all now do about what’s been done, is to help Barack Obama make things right, by joining in genuinely assisting him to take the boldest step he’s ever taken.

The step into his future as a transformed man.

Obama’s Real Beef With Churchill’s Bust

One of Barack Obama’s first official acts upon being sworn in as President of the United States was to return a bust of British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill to Britain. The bust, which once occupied the Oval Office, had been loaned to George W. Bush by the British government in a show of solidarity after the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.

Was this Obama’s rejection of international support against Muslim extremism? Or was it much more than that?

While this action created tension between the US and the UK (which would be later exacerbated by Obama’s shabby treatment of our ally), many observers surmised that this was a symbolic slight meant to punish the British government’s imperialistic policies of the past – in particular, those which had detrimentally affected the people of Kenya, from whence Barack Obama Sr., had come.

There is a more likely explanation, if one understands that the President’s biological father was in fact Malcolm X, rather than Barack Obama Sr. The slight against the Obama’s sensibilities was far more painful.

Just three days before his father’s assassination, England had considered banning Malcolm forever from its soil.
